Russian diplomat blasts State Duma member’s remarks on Azerbaijan as ‘unaccaptable’

The remarks on Azerbaijan voiced by State Duma member Mikhail Delyagin are unacceptable and does not reflect Russia’s positions, Russian Ambassador to Baku Mikhail Bocharnikov said at a press conference on Wednesday, a correspondent of News.Az reports.

State Duma deputy Mikhail Delyagin earlier called for inflicting strikes on Azerbaijan’s oil infrastructure due to the aggravation of the situation in Karabakh.

“Such remarks are unacceptable and can harm friendly ties with Azerbaijan,” Ambassador Bocharnikov said, reiterating that Delyagin’s views do not reflect Russia’s position.
