COVID-19 cases in Georgia reach 615

Over the past 24 hours, the number of coronavirus cases in Georgia has increased by 5, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 615, according to the government's stopcov.ge website. 

Reportedly, 5,002 people are being kept in a 14-day mandatory quarantine, and 485 patients are under observation in hospitals.

The number of patients who have recovered from the illness reached 275. Nine coronavirus-infected people died.

Georgian health officials once again call on everyone to stay home and keep social distancing to avoid further spread of COVID-19, the report said.

Georgia declared a state of emergency until May 22 to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
