Iran to export computer games

Iran to export 10 computer games to European, Asian countries.

Ten Iranian computer games will be exported to the Asian and European countries in near future, said managing director of National Foundation of Computer Games.

Behrouz Minaei further noted that the foundation in its three and half year carrier, has taken effective steps in line with producing and distributing computer games.

Holding the First Iranian Computer Games Festival by the foundation had extensive reflection in foreign media, he said, adding that the event will be held regularly.

He further noted that the active presence at the German computer games festival has provided an opportunity for the Iranian game makers to get acquainted with the latest achievements in the field.

Minaei also said that National Foundation of Computer Games had concluded a contract with Malaysia to distribute the English version of the Iranian games in the country.

Efforts are underway to distribute the same games in Indonesia and Thailand, in addition to Malaysia, he added.

Two Indian and Turkish companies have expressed their willingness to buy Iranian computer games and five Iranian games will be prepared for distribution in these countries at the first place, he said.

Minaei also added that the computer games will be dubbed into English, Spanish, French, Russian and German languages for export to foreign countries.
