Karabakh foundation continues events as part of Azerbaijani carpet month-PHOTOS

Karabakh Foundation has showcased Azerbaijani carpets at carpet salon of famous Azerbaijani carpet master of Azerbaijani origin Davud Zahirpurun.

According to the news service for the foundation, over 200 guests visited the exhibition. Famous music expert Geoffrey Verbock, who is considered the friend to Azerbaijan, informed the guests about the Karabakh school of carpet-weaving and Azerbaijani tradition of this ancient art.

Another big event in this series was the annual Textile Museum Festival. Hundreds of guests took part took part in the event with participation of ten famous US museums. During the event, Karabakh Foundation showcased fine Azerbaijani carpets, while volunteers of the organization presented Azerbaijani culture to the guests.

In the cabin of the Karabakh Foundation, set nearby the stage, the organization held a presentation for the event participants about the important role of Azerbaijan in creation and production of oriental carpets. Children participating in the event colored the contours of the carpets and learned to differentiate between Azerbaijani and other carpets.

Azerbaijani mugam followed further causing interest with many US visitors. Most American visitors received detailed information about Azerbaijani culture.
