Azerbaijan to spend AZN 1bn for returning bank savings of USSR
Azerbaijan will spend AZN 1 bln ton returning of lump-sum payments to the depositors, said the Chairman of Economic policy Committee Ziyad Samadzade, APA reports.
Remind that, the order on this issue was signed by the head of state on March 14.
Bank savings of former USSR Saving’s Bank saved in Azerbaijan Republic Bank was indexed sometimes and compensations were given for it (1993-1997). Some of depositors received compensations, some did not receive and the compensations lost the costs.
