Officials told AA correspondent on Friday that operations have been continuing in the region after simultaneous terrorist attacks on military checkpoints in Beytushshebap that killed 10 Turkish soldiers on September 2.
Shirnak governor's office said that one soldier died early on Friday in clashes with terrorists in the region.
