Three stations being built to provide Nakhchivan with digital transmission

By the end of the year, the whole territory of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic will be provided with digital transmission.

According to deputy chairman of the Marketing department of B&B TV Communication Company Samir Mahmudov, digital transmission is currently conducted in Nakhchivan. But three stations are being construction to prove this service in the whole territory of the Autonomous Republic, Gun.Az reported, referring to the ICT Ministry.

"After the commission of these stations, their number will reach four and, thus the entire territory will be provided with digital transmission."

He said that monitoring will be held after the launch of the station.

"The transmission might be weak in some mountainous areas. In this case, small stations can be constructed. According to our estimates, the work should be completed at the end of this year."
