Azerbaijani women's team in chess gain sensational victory over Georgia

In the 9th round of the Chess Olympiad in Istanbul Azerbaijani men's team played Poland.

The match ended in a draw 2-2.
 
Poland - Azerbaijan - 2:2
 
Radoslav Voytachek (2717) - Teymour Rajabov (2788) - 1-0
 
Bartosz Socko (2635) - Shahriyar Mammadyarov (2729) - 0-1
 
Dariusz Svirch (2594) - Rauf Mammadov (2634) - a draw
 
Bartlomiej Maciej (2594) - Gadir Huseynov (2613) - a draw

Now we have 13 points and share the eighth place with a number of teams. The situation flared up again among the leaders after Russia lost to the United States (1.5:2.5). Just four teams - Russia, the U.S., China and Armenia - have 15 points. Ukraine, the Netherlands and Argentina have 14 points.  Philippines, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Georgia, China, Czech Republic, Belarus and Denmark have 13 points along with Azerbaijan.

And our women's team gained a sensational victory over Georgia. Earlier, we also beat Armenia. Both teams are above us on the ranking list.
