The statement came from Elnur Aslanov, chief of the department for political analysis and information of the Presidential Administration, commenting on the recent hacker attacks on Azerbaijani websites.

Due to the rapid detection and efforts to block attacks at the entrance to our section of the network, the damage was minimal, despite the triumphant declaration circulating in the Armenian media. For some time, certain Azerbaijani Internet news resources were blocked.

It should be noted that in severe social and economic situation, the use of financial resources of ordinary taxpayers by official Yerevan with little result in punishable outcry leads to some reflection.

The very fact of this action says about the powerlessness of Yerevan, which resorted to the tactics of the weak, trying to apply an anonymous attack. Stupidity of the act is that choosing this tactic, Yerevan underestimated its opponent. Vainly spending quite serious - by Armenian standards - financial resources, Yerevan got into debt even more, thus noting the priority of unhealthy ambitions over the socio-economic status of the people.

Armenia's political regime is fully aware that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict as a result of an attempt to annex the territory of Azerbaijan is a greater threat to the security of the region in every sense of the word. The attack on the information space of Azerbaijan was further proof of the lack of culture of appropriate behavior at the table of negotiations. But since we often witness the tactics of avoiding attempts to solve the problem by transferring it to another level, I would like to remind the official Yerevan that as in all other cases, we are always ready to adequately take the challenge thrown at us", Aslanov said.
