New Lithuanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Arturas Zurauskas arrives in Baku in early October, the Lithuanian Embassy said on Friday.
Zhurauskas succeeds Kestutis Kudzmanas, who was an ambassador of Lithuania to Azerbaijan since the opening of the embassy in Baku in April 2007.
Prior to his appointment to Azerbaijan, Zhurauskas served as head of the Department of Law and International Treaties at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Previously, he served as Ambassador of Lithuania to the People's Republic of China and Greece, and was accredited in the Republic of Korea, Mongolia, Vietnam, Cyprus, Albania and Bulgaria.
