Some circles cannot digest our achievements – official
The extradition of Ramil Safarov was carried out in full compliance with international law and Azerbaijani Constitution.
The statement came from chief of the international relations department of the Presidential Administration Novruz Mammadov, Gun.Az reports.
He noted that anyone who is familiar with legislation relating to the procedure knows it very well.
Mammadov noted that if only once those parliamentarians remembered the international law for Azerbaijan during the 20 year-occupation of its territory and noted the disrespect to the four UN resolutions, there would remain at least a small trust that their position is unbiased.
"Some circles in the European Union do not want to understand that they are making mistakes by showing disrespect to public opinion in different countries. Recently there has been left no media representative, no journalist that didn’t write or speak about Safarov's extradition, as though this is an important issue that can affect processes in the planet.
And it has one reason: great achievements of the young and secular Muslim country in most important fields of international relations, important achievements in its domestic policy don't fit the heart of some circles, they cannot digest it.
Up to now, they haven’t uttered any single word regarding terror acts of Armenian terrorists in different countries (US, France etc.) including Azerbaijan and their extradition. How can we understand this?"
