The statement came from chief of the public policy issues of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan Ali Hasanov.
According to him, terror has become an integral part of Armenian policy.
"We saw this on the example of the Khojaly genocide. By picking up the hype around the case of Ramil Safarov, who, by the way, has served most of his sentence, Armenia is deliberately trying to hide its
terrorist essence. We reiterate that the extradition process and the subsequent pardon of Safarov took place in the framework of international law and the laws of Azerbaijan ", he said.
According to Hasanov, Armenia should rather review its actions than to engage in hysteria around this issue.
