Hungarian intellectuals have sent a letter to the Azerbaijani embassy in Hungary.

Extradition and a subsequent pardon of Azerbaijani officer Ramil Safarov is the main theme of the Hungarian press, radio, television and electronic media of the past week.

According to the press service of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Hungary, the Armenian diaspora is trying every way to distort the truth and discredit Azerbaijan.

Hungarian intellectuals in the face of Turkic expert Eve Tssaki and musicologist Professor Janos Sipos have sent a letter to the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Hungary Vilayat Guliyev.

Hungarian intellectuals are concerned with statements against Azerbaijan, as well as express their sympathy and support, the letter reads.

It refers to J.Sipos’s meeting with IDPs from Nagorno-Karabakh during his studies of the Azerbaijani folk music.

"We understand the difficulties of the Azerbaijani people. We are next to you on this wonderful”, the letter says.
