Ankara officially confirms Erdogan's visit to Azerbaijan

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is to visit Azerbaijan on 11-12 September of this year.

The statement came from the news service for the Turkish Cabinet of Ministers.

During the visit Erdogan is to attend the session of the Azerbaijani-Turkish Council of Strategic Cooperation. The Turkish Premier is expected to meet President of Azerbaijan Ilham  Aliyev and other officials of the country. A number of ministers and deputies of the parliament are included into the Turkish delegation.

After Baku, Erdogan is to leave for Kiev, where he will hold meetings with Ukrainian President Yanukovich and attend the session of the Ukrainian-Turkish Strategic Cooperation council. Erdogan will also become a honorary guest at the ninth annual meeting of the Yalta European Strategy (YES).

After the meetings in  Ukraine, Erdogan is to leave for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
