Several intergovernmental agreements on economic cooperation and law-enforcement spheres between Belarus and Azerbaijan have been signed in Minsk.

Several intergovernmental agreements on economic cooperation and law-enforcement spheres between the two countries have been signed in Minsk, following the talks between President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, who is on an official visit to Belarus, and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.

APA reports quoting “Interfax” that the sides signed an agreement about the creation of the useful economic and organizational conditions for extending leasing activity.

The Interior Ministers of the two countries signed agreements on combating with theft of cultural property and ensuring their return, the legalization of proceeds got through crime and terrorist financing. In addition, Azerbaijan and Belarus have agreed to combat the illicit manufacturing and turnover of firearms, ammunitions and explosives.

The Justice Ministers of the two countries signed agreements on the cooperation in medical examination sphere and the Health Ministers signed agreements on the cooperation in the field of drug registration and control over their quality.

Besides it, an agreement on cooperation in trade, economic, humanitarian and cultural spheres was signed between the Nakhchivan City Executive Power (the Republic of Azerbaijan) and Brest City Executive Committee (the Republic of Belarus).
