Justice for Khojaly announces plans for 2012

Secretary General of the Islamic Conference Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation Elshad Iskandarov has today announced “Justice for Khojaly” Campaign program of events for 2012.

According to Iskandarov, a number of events have been held in more than 50 countries of the world as part of the Campaign. Netherlands, Poland, Hungary, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, Ukraine and Turkey hosted conferences, “round tables”, exhibitions, protest rallies and other actions in connection with the 20th anniversary of Khojaly genocide.
Iskandarov stressed that opening ceremony of the monuments to the victims of Khojaly and Srebrenica massacres will be held in Sarajevo on February 24. Initiator of the “Justice for Khojaly” Campaign, General Coordinator of the Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation (ICYF-DC) Leyla Aliyeva as well as state officials of Bosnia and Herzegovina are expected to attend the event.
Moscow, Bucharest, Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, Berlin, Brussels and other world cities will host various events dedicated to the Khojaly genocide.
A rally with “We are all Khojaly residents!” motto will be held in Istanbul on February 26.
Iskandarov also underlined that more than 30.000 Facebook users supports the Campaign.
