Unique portait of Georgian queen returns to Georgia

The portrait of the last queen of Abkhazia and Samegrelo, Nino Dadiani has returned to Georgia.

Georgian businessman, Victor Dadiani, who lives in the United States, arrived in Georgia together with his family on Tuesday evening and took the painting, which he bought at one of the auctions in Europe with him.

Victor Dadiani said he was very happy to be here and was going to marry in Georgia.

The unique portrait of Georgian queen will be handed over to the Ministry of Culture first and exhibited at the national museum before it is taken to the place of destination - the Royal Palace of Dadiani in Zugdidi, Samegrelo.
