In the course of the monitoring conducted by the Azerbaijani office of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), another Caucasian leopard was spotted.

According to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, on 25 October, a leopard was shot by camera traps installed in the Hirkan National Park.

The first picture of a mature leopard was shot on 6 September in the Hasan Aliyev Zangazur National Park.

These images confirm the effectiveness of the measures taken in Azerbaijan to ensure the living conditions for wild animals in their natural habitat.
