Lukashenko offers favorable conditions for investments to Azerbaijani companies

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko offers the most favorable conditions for investment and business start-up to Azerbaijani companies.

He said this on Tuesday at a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, BELTA reports.

Alexander Lukashenko stressed that Belarus successfully implements a number of Azerbaijani investment projects in logistics, trade and public catering.

President of Belarus welcomed the expansion of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

"Last year, Belarus and Azerbaijan took to the impressive performance of foreign trade. And we need to move on. It is important not to lose the intensity of interaction in this sphere ", he said.

BELTA reports that Alexander Lukashenko primarily meant the transition from simple trade to the implementation of major joint projects, development of investment and scientific and technical cooperation. According to the President of Belarus, such things considerably strengthen relations and promote them to a higher level.

The Belarusian President also noted that the parties intend to develop cooperation in the energy sector.

"We were able to demonstrate the high efficiency of our cooperation in the energy sector", he said, expressing gratitude to the Azerbaijani side for support in ensuring energy security.

According to Lukashenko, the Belarusian companies are willing to work together and provide services in the field of oil production. The Belarusian side also can supply high-quality geophysical and drilling equipment.
