Azerbaijan increases production of alcoholic drinks

Azerbaijan has produced 18,249.2 thousand decalitres of alcoholic drinks during January-July, 2012, up 14% compared to last year.

According to State Statistical Committee, 51.1 thousand decalitres of champagne, 409.6 thousand decalitres of vodka, 494 thousand decalitres of grape wine, 3,147.5 thousand decalitres of beer and 48.4 thousand decalitres of brandy and 14,098.6 thousand decalitres of soft drinks were produced during the reporting period, APA reports.

The total cost of drink production made AZN 91 mln during the reporting period, up 8.7% from a year earlier.
