The investments in Azerbaijan’s economy so far have been in excess of $120 bn, said the Deputy Minister of Economic Development Niyazi Safarov.
According to him, Azerbaijan’ economy tripled during past 8 years, non-oil sector rose by 4.3 times, industrial production – by 2.7 times, strategic currency stocks – by 25 times, communication sphere – by 6.4 times, APA reports.
He also noted that, all these caused launch of new jobs in the country. So, in 2011, more than 94,000 jobs were launched.
