Azerbaijan raises aluminum export

Azerbaijan exports aluminum worth $43,097,000 in January-May 2012.

According to the State Customs Committee, aluminum export has risen by $41,062,000 or 21.2 times over January-May 2011.

The share of aluminum export in overall export of the country made 0.4% as of 1 June 2012.

In 2011 Azerbaijan's aluminum export made $12,689,000.

Compared to 2010 the aluminum export has risen by 372.28% in price equivalent.
