Flame Towers to open next year

The construction of the Flame Tower skyscrapers opposite the Azerbaijani parliament will be completed next year.

One of the skyscrapers which will operate as a hotel will be commissioned early next year. The other two buildings will be put into operation several months later.

Logistics chief at Dia Holding Tajaddin Dumral has said that the three skyscrapers cover an area of 234,500 sq. m. Each building will have its own name and functions.

The first building, to be named Residential Tower, will consist of 33 floors and 130 flats. The second high-rise building, to be called Hotel Tower as well as the  northern building, will operate as a hotel. It will have 250 rooms and 61 service rooms. The building with an area of 56,292 square metres and 30 floors. The hotel will also include spa and fitness centres.

The third is called Office Tower. The western building will have 28 floors and operate as a business centre with an area of 33,114 square metres. The Flame Towers symbolize Azerbaijan – the Land of Fire.

Construction of the high-rise buildings began in 2007.
