According to SOCAR, 221,176,000 cubic meters of fuel were pumped to underground reservoirs last month.
Thus, 647,188,000 cubic meters of gas were used in August. Of this volume, industry, population and Azerenerji received 537,293,000 cubic meters of gas, 13,028,000 cubic meters were transported to Georgia, 62,743,000 cubic meters to Russia and 34,124,000 cubic meters were transferred to Iran to ensure gas to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
Thus, in January-August SOCAR executed the forecast on the supply of natural gas to consumers envisioned in the fuel and energy balance of the country. Thus, in eight months the national system of gas supply received 7,484,714,000 cubic meters which is by 666,414,000 cubic meters higher than the forecast.
