The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan exported 112,054 tons of motor gasoline in January-August this year, according to sources in the company.
Production export has dropped by 54,179 tons over the same period of 2009. SOCAR supplies gasoline mostly to Georgia and Iran.
In January the production export made up 10,544 tons, in February 8,303 tons, in March 13,317 tons, in April 18,648 tons, in May 14,943 tons, in June 13,469 tons, in April 18,648 tons, in May 14,943 tons, in June 13,469 tons, in July 14,858 tons, in August 18,261 tons.
In 2009 SOCAR exported 227,184 tons of motor gasoline. Production export has dropped by 157,568 tons over 2008.
A ton of motor gasoline on the world market was sold for $682.92.
