Azerbaijani actor wins Hollywood award

Azerbaijani actor Timur Odushov won the 32nd annual award of Young talents of Hollywood.

Azerbaijani actor Timur Odushev, who casted as little Garib in The Precinct was nominated for the 32nd Annual Young Artist Awards.

Narimanfilm reports that Timur Odushev won the contest and became the laureate of the 32nd Annual Young Artist Awards.

The awarding ceremony was held in Hollywood on 13 March. The awarding ceremony involved Timur Odushev and director of the film Ilgar Safat.

Timur Odushev’s nomination for participation in the 32nd Annual Young Artist Awards was proposed by representatives of the Foreign Press of the Hollywood, after the demonstration of The Precinct to foreign press and film critics of Hollywood, within the framework of participation of the film in pre-Oscar shows in Los Angeles.

At the final stage of the contest the nomination of the 32nd Annual Young Artist Awards involved films from Russia, France, Sweden, Azerbaijan, Spain, Canada, France, Holland, Brazil.

Narimanfilm voices gratitude to Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism, PashaBank, the whole Azerbaijani people for attention and support during the production of the film and during its participation in Oscar campaign.
