Chief of Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Yuri Khachaturov will leave for Minsk on Tuesday to participate in the meeting of his counterparts from CSTO member states.
The participants will discuss the main development directions of CSTO’s military component, improvement of CSTO structure and the results of inspection in the military units assigned to participate in the Collective Rapid Reaction Force.
As reported earlier, Armenia will host Cooperation 2012 joint military drills with the participation of CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Force.
The CSTO exercises scheduled for September 3-8 in Armenia will be conducted in accordance with the Plan of joint activities of operational and combat training of government and groups of forces of the Organization.
