15147 nominees have been confirmed for 1536 municipalities in Azerbaijan up to now.
Central Election Commission’s press service told that 3046 of them are women. 8040 of the nominees have higher education.
14 political parties have put forward their candidacies. 14904 of the confirmed nominees have started signature collection campaign. 11423 of them have submitted the signature sheets and other necessary documents to the election constituencies. 15682 members must be elected to 1718 municipalities.
