Azerbaijani oil shipping from Turkey’s Ceyhan did not rise this January

SOCAR informs that 2.8 million tons of Azerbaijani oil was shipped from Turkish port Ceyhan this January. The same volume was shipped last December.

State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has announced next statistic data on Azerbaijani oil export via main export pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) named after Heydar Aliyev.

SOCAR informs that 2.8 million tons of Azerbaijani oil was shipped from Turkish port Ceyhan this January. The same volume was shipped last December.

Over 2009, export made up 36.3 million tons, and the last year’s best indicator was registered in May (3.5 million tons).

From the very beginning of BTC pipe operation in mid-2006 till 1st February 2010 export from Ceyhan totaled 107.5 million tons of Azerbaijani oil.
