Azerbaijan's Economic Development Ministry and the German Technical Assistance Society have initiated creation of the e-trade internet portal.
"The creation of the e-trade system is one of the paragraphs of the actions plan within the framework of the State programme of stable supply of foodstuffs to population in 2008-2015. Meanwhile, the Economic Development Ministry has been empowered to settle issues of intensification of activity to create e-trade system", the news release for the ministry says.
In this connection, the Economic Development Ministry in cooperation with GTZ have launched creation of the e-trade internet-portal within the framework of the programme of support to private sector. This will help support entrepreneurs especially in the sphere of agroindustrial complex with the entry to free markets with its production.
"The ministry plans to hold negotiations with donors regarding financing of this portal management and other issues for its normal functioning in the coming months", the news release says.
