Baku to host dance festival with participation of foreign guests

The Bahariya festival is held once in five years.

The Sirdash Baku dance club is preparing for a remarkable event: a jubilee, children's festival Bakhariya-2010 will be held at the Fidan entertainment center on May 2, according to sources in the Sirdash club. Founders and irreplaceable leaders of the dance club,  Elmira and Mikail Mukhtarovs, said this year Sirdash is marking its 25th anniversary.

The festival is expected to involve all Baku dance clubs: Chinar, Neftchi, Aypara, Olimp, Shane, Rovesnik, Impulse, Liman, Fidan, Azeri Injileri. Regs dunyasi and others. Moreover, dance couples from Kazakhstan, Russia and Georgia will arrive in Baku.
The programme of the festival includes the contests of the dance couples by the system of mass sport and team contests among children up to 14 years of age in five different nominations. The nominations include Azerbaijani dance, European dance, Latino, choreographic miniature and hip-hope.

The Bahariya festival is held once in five years. For the first time it was held in 1990.
