They are in Group A alongside Germany, Turkey, Austria, Belgium and Kazakhstan.
Before the draw in Warsaw yesterday, UEFA President Michel Platini confirmed that Armenia and Azerbaijan as well as Russia and Georgia would be in different groups.
Armenia were drawn in Group B alongside Russia, Slovakia, Ireland, Macedonia and Andorra.
The qualifying matches will start in September this year. The nine group winners and the best runner-up will qualify automatically for the finals, which will be played in Poland and Ukraine. The runners-up in the remaining eight groups will play off to decide who gets the last four places.
