More than 30 kilometers of roads undergo repair in Baku and suburbs in 2009

The projects in reconstruction, major repair and construction of highways, bridges and crossroads have been implemented in Azerbaijan.

Projects were implemented within the framework of the state program of social development for 2009-2013 and in line with the plan on additional events in the sphere of improvement of the transport system in Baku for 2008-2013 in Azerbaijan in 2009.
According to the news service for the Azerbaijan Transport Ministry, AZN 1,301.2 was spent for the said purposes in 2009, according to the news service for the Azerbaijan Transport Ministry.
Thus, roads extending to 464.6 kilometers were laid in Azerbaijan in 2009 and 7 bridges were constructed in the regions.
Over 30 kilometers highways were repaired in Baku and suburbs in 2009.

Along with it the second tunnel will be build on the highway from Heydar Aliyev's avenue in the direction of the Keshlya near the railroad.
A passage and a junction were built and commissioned at the junction of Heydar Aliyev ave and Agha Neymetulla street along with a junction at the crossroad of the Babek Avenue and Mammad Hadim and Mikail Aliyev street, a tunnel on the junction of the Ziya Bunyatov Ave and Azadlyg and the passage at Jafar Jabbarli square.

Pedestrian passeges underwent major repair at Tbilisi and Azerbaijan avenues in 2009.
