The first night of the film "The Endless Space of Mugam" made on the basis of the Azerbaijani Television was held at the hall of the Composers' Union.

The author of the film, Frangiz Alizade, UNESCO peace artist and chairman of Azerbaijan Composers' Union, made the film in a form of a chronicle of events that occured during the recent first International Mugam Festival held in Baku.

The colorful film rich in content and logical formation of episodes featuring the grandeur event held under the auspices of Heydar Aliyev's Foundation contains a rich material. It reflects the devout attitude of talented performers, world scientists and guests in the festival to this phenomenon of the national Azerbaijani culture.

The extracts from plays, records of concert performances of the leading figures and young performers are combined with the reports of the music scientists, interviews of professionals and famous guests and other shots featuring this bright and unforgettable festivity that has significantly raised the number of Mugam amateurs around the world.

A lively discussion during which professionals voiced a number of proposals about how they see the next forums on Mugam was held after the film was demonstrated at the hall of Azerbaijan Composers' Union.
