As of 1 May 2012 the balance assets of Azerbaijani banking system made AZN 14,741,920,000.
According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, it is a 0.38$ increase over 1 April and 5.7% increase over 1 January. Meanwhile, the assets have grown by 15.6% over a year earlier.
To compare, the banking assets made AZN 14,685,900,000 as of 1 April, 14,335,700,000 as of 1 March, AZN 13,898,600,000 as of 1 February, AZN 13,946,810,000 as of 1 January, AZN 12,751,770,000 as of 1 May 2011.
The banking assets have grown by 7.3% in 2011.
