The Azerbaijan Agency on authors’ rights protection has prepared a bill "On ensuring legal protection of intellectual property and combat against piracy".
On the basis of the future law on any production that can be conditionally attributed to intellectual property, there should be a special mark and a hologram before they are delivered to new trade points.
The officials of the Agency on authors’ rights and TACIS experts have already studied international experience in ensuring choice of facilities and holograms. Moreover, huge work has been carried out to create technologies to ensure this process. Intensive works are now held to establish the Center of Intellectual Property to implement the scheduled Twinning project in Azerbaijan.
