Poland’s embassy in Azerbaijan told that Bogdan Klich will visit Azerbaijan at the invitation of Defense Minister Safar Abiyev.
Bogdan Klich’s visit will last for two days. Later, he will visit Georgia and Armenia. Before leaving for Baku the minister said in Warsaw that security issues would be the main theme of discussions during his visit to the South Caucasus region.
“My first visit to the region is connected with the security issues, as South Caucasus is of great importance for not only East, but also for Central Europe. South Caucasus should be either the region of conflicts and crises, or the region of stability. I will meet with defense ministers of pro-Western Azerbaijan and Georgia and defense minister of Armenia that is interested in the military cooperation with Russia,” he said.
