The Under-23 European Judo Championships in the Turkish city of Antalya and the inaugural Abu Dhabi Judo Grand Prix both begin today.
Azerbaijan's contestants have already found out their first round opponents, News.Az reports.
Azerbaijan is represented in the men's section of the European championships by Vugar Shirinli (60 kg), Emil Hasanov (66 kg), Nadir Babayev (73 kg), Kanan Naghiyev (81kg), Shahin Gahramanov (90 kg) and Emil Tahirov (over 100 kg), while Aysel Osmanli (52 kg) and Ramila Yusubova (63 kg) are competing in the women's section.
Elhan Mammadov (90 kg) and Elhan Rajabli (81 kg) are competing in Abu Dhabi.
