The international football contest involving Azeri team ended in Al-Ayn (Emirates).
According to News.Az, our team occupied the third place among four teams, outstripping Czechia. Azeri footballers defeated Czechs in the match for the third position. The strong European team that occupied 15th place in FIFA World Ranking was defeated – 2:0.
The first goal on the 25th minute was scored by Vagif Javadov while the final goal was scored by Ruslan Abishev on the 88th minute. Notably, Azeri footballers scored headers.
In the semifinal the Azeri team lost 0:1 to Iraq who became the winner of the tournament. The Asian champions defeated the team from Emirates also 1:0 in the final.
