The ruling New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) will gain victory in the municipal elections on 23 December, YAP chief executive Ali Ahmadov said on Wednesday.
“The party has successfully completed the first stage of the election campaign and this allows us to speak of our upcoming victory in the municipal elections”, Ahmadov said at a ceremony to open the party's administrative building in Baku's Nizami District and to mark the party's 17th anniversary.
