Azerbaijani U-21 football team
Azeri team will hold a match for the third place against Czechia’s national team in the international football tournament in UAE on November 18.
According to News,Az, the game to be held in Al-Ayn will start at 16.30. The Azerbaijani team lost to Iraq in the semifinal – 0:1, while Czechs were defeated by UAE in penalty series.
Meanwhile, the 2011 UEFA European Under-21 Championship between the Austrian and Azeri teams will start in Austrian Wiener Neudorf at 20.00 Baku time. Our team lost to Scotland – 0:4 - last Saturday, while Austrians held a draw match with Albania on Friday – 2:2.
The Austrian team is ranking second with 10 points. Azerbaijan has no points and is at the bottom.
