“The said project is currently implemented at two schools – No 23 and the European lyceum” , head of the Baku Educational Department Nailya Rzakuliyeva said.
“E-cards to control pupils' attendance and progress will be applied at these schools and others further”.
The main advantage of the new system is that the parents will be able to control not only the behavior of their child but also his marks at a special website of the school. There is also a proposal to send information about pupils’ progress to the mobile phones of parents via a school computer. But these are just plans”, the chief of department says.
She noted that the database of all Baku schools is now being created. “We are also planning to establish a system when the director will be able to get information about any pupil studying at this school via computer. These and other ideas will be implemented after the process of schools connection to Internet ends in full”, Rzakuliyeva said.
