Azeri president off to Bulgaria

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will pay a working visit to Bulgaria on Friday, the Bulgarian presidential press service reports.

Aliyev is completing an official visit to Belarus and is expected to go straight to Sofia from Minsk. 

The Azerbaijani president and his Bulgarian counterpart, Georgi Parvanov, will discuss the further development of bilateral relations and are expected to sign a memorandum on energy cooperation.

The visit is the initiative of the Bulgarian president, Bulgaria's Kross news agency reports.
