Azeri, Belarus presidents sign cooperation accords

Belarus and Azerbaijan signed a package of bilateral agreements in Minsk on Thursday, Belarusian news agency Belta reports.

The documents were signed in the presence of presidents Ilham Aliyev and Alexander Lukashenko at the end of their talks in an expanded format.

Lukashenko and Aliyev adopted a joint declaration on their talks. The two sides concluded an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in youth policy and signed a protocol on implementing an agreement on cooperation in education for 2009-2010.

The sides also signed agreements on cooperation on national security, archives and border services.
