Karabakh's Azerbaijani community looks forward to adoption of UN resolution on occupied lands.

The adoption of UN resolution on the situation in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan facilitate the work of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs on Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

'We believe that Azerbaijan's fair position in UN will be supported by most states, we should not have a problem with it, since the world knows that Armenia has occupied Azerbaijani lands' said head of the Azerbaijani community of Karabakh Bayram Safarov, commenting on the postponement of the discussions on the said resolution at the session of the UN General Assembly from September 7 to September 9.

According to the head of the Azerbaijani community of Karabakh, Azerbaijan just protects its rights by introducing this resolution at the session of the UN General Assembly.

The draft resolution on the situation in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan is put into the UN agenda by official Baku for the fourth time. Earlier, the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries did not support this document during the previous discussions in the UN General Assembly.
