Serzh Sargsyan

'Serzh Sargsyan has clearly stated that Armenia will likely come of this process'.

If Turkey does not take necessary steps until April next year, Armenia will cease the Armenian-Turkish process, member of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia Mkrtich Minassian told ARMENIA Today, stressing that it is his personal opinion.

"In his latest statement, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan has clearly stated that Armenia will likely come of this process, making it clear that the time allocated for Turkey is nearing completion",  he said. For this reason, the deputy believes Turkey has no more chances to watch something or play for time, Ankara should either ratify the protocols, or the process will eventually fail. "I think that in April Armenia will come of this process", said Minassian.

Commenting on the request of the journalists about the conduction of secret negotiations by the Armenian and Turkish sides, the MP noted that this information is the political and diplomatic trick. He urged journalists not to listen to the statements voiced  in Turkey, because they are all links in a Turkish show. "This is not serious, if they want to take any step, they should take it, the ball is in their court”, the deputy concluded.
