Turkic speaking countries meet in Istanbul.
High-level attendence is expected in the meeting, where ambassador Halil Akıncı will be named as the Secretary General of the council to be set up.
Heads of State and Government of the Turkic Speaking Countries Summit Cooperation Council will be translated into life in next week's meeting in Istanbul.
Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan will take part in the Council, whose headquarters will be in Istanbul. Ambassador Halil Akıncı is expected to be elected as the Secretary General of the Council.
Heads of state and government of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan will attend the meeting. Uzbekistan has not been attending the Turkic speaking countries summit since 1995. It's not certain yet, whether Uzbekistan will attend the summit in Istanbul.
Cooperation Council will consist 5 bodies; heads of state and government, foreign ministers, senior state officials, Wise Men Council, which will have 2 representatives from each country, and the Secretariat.
One of Turkey's representatives in the Wise Men council is expected to be President's Secretary General Mustafa Isen.
