Latvian ex-president Ms. Vaira Vike-Freiberga will visit Azerbaijan on September 11.
Special envoy to the Secretary General on United Nations reform, vice-chair of the Reflection Group on the long term future of the European Union, Latvian ex-president Ms. Vaira Vike-Freiberga will visit Azerbaijan on September 11.
During the visit, she will hold several meetings, make reports in higher education institutions and attend events to mark the 125th anniversary of Azerbaijani composer Uzeyir Hacıbayli.
Vaira Vike-Freiberga will also visit the Avenue of Honors to pay respect to national leader Heydar Aliyev and the Martyrs' Avenue to commemorate Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the country`s independence and territorial integrity.
