'Armenia has recently demonstrated an ‘ugly feature’ – the reluctance to return the bodies of killed Azerbaijani soldiers'.
The non-governmental Karabakh Liberation Organization (KLO) has sent a message to UN Secretary General, UN General Assembly and Security Council in connection with the forthcoming discussion of a new resolution on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the press service of KLO reports.
'We believe that it is time to draw your attention to the Karabakh conflict, resulting from the capture of Azerbaijani territories by Armenian armed forces. The absence of any initiative from your side against the occupier and aggressor Armenia, despite the past 20 years of occupation of lands, is considered in the Azerbaijani society to be an injustive and the patronage of the invaders', the letter said.
The organization also stresses that Armenia has recently demonstrated an ‘ugly feature’ – the reluctance to return the bodies of killed Azerbaijani soldiers.
The organization expressed hope that the UN will devote sufficient attention to the message and take decisive and concrete decisions on the baseless claims by Armenia, spread throughout the region, will take immediate and urgent steps to prevent occupation, and "the duplicitous and underhanded" policy of Armenia in the region.
