The Baku Business Center hosted a meeting of representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan with the delegation of Mexico.
According to sources in the Ministry, the meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Mexico Ilgar Mukhtarov and businessmen.
At the meeting the head of the Department of coordination of foreign investment and assistance Sahil Babayev provided information about the economy and investment opportunities in Azerbaijan. He noted that thanks to the successful socio-economic policies being implemented by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the country has created a favorable business and investment climate, increased export potential. S. Babayev urged Mexican businessmen to take the advantage of these opportunities.
In turn, president of Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (Azpromo) Adil Mammadov told in detail about the investment and export potential of Azerbaijan while head of the Azerbaijan Investment Company (AIC) Afgan Isayev spoke of the activities of AIC and its ongoing projects.
The meeting held exchange of views on boosting trade and economic relations between the two countries, as well as participation of Mexican investors in ongoing projects in Azerbaijan.
